This dessert is very easy to make, the taste is so refreshing and good. Cheese and lemon make a great pair. Enjoy the softness of crust and richness of taste. A must have recipe!



For crust:

  • 400 gr flour
  • 1 egg
  • 200 gr butter
  • 1 pack baking powder (12gr)
  • 80 gr sugar


For cheese filling:

  • 750 gr fresh cheese (Farmer’s cheese)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 lemon zest
  • 30 gr raisins
  • 80 gr sugar
  • 1 pack vanilla sugar (10gr)


Preheat oven to 180C degrees.

Sift flour in a large bowl. Add sugar, baking powder and egg. Stir with kitchen spatula. Cut butter into little pieces and add it to the flour mixture.


Mix everything with your hands until well incorporated. Divide dough into two pieces. Wrap each piece with plastic folia and put in the refrigerator until you make cheese filling.


Put cheese in a bowl, add both sugars, lemon zest, raisins and egg. Mix well.


Grease your casserole (mine is 25×37 cm) with little butter. Take one piece of dough and place it at the bottom of casserole. Stretch it with hands until the bottom is all covered up. Spread cheese filling over the dough.


Roll the other piece of the dough between parchment paper using rolling pin. Cover the pie and prick the dough with fork so the steam can escape. Cut all dough extensis.


Bake for 40 minutes. Allow to cool down.
