Vanilla Nesquick whipped cream filled chocolate Easter eggs
I saw this beautiful pictures on www.raspberricupcakes.com and just had to make that and surprise my kids for Easter.
The idea was borrowed but I changed the filling. Little eggs were just great. Kids were little confused at first. They thought they were real eggs coated in chocolate. But when they took the first bite and said mmmm, i knew it was a jack pot.
- 6 chocolate eggs (mine were small ones)
- 1 vanilla pudding
- Nesquik syrup
- 2 dcl heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1,5 tbsp sugar
- Yellow and red food colour
Using sharp knife gently cut the top of each chocolate egg.
Cook vanilla pudding and take about 8 tsp for filling, eat the rest for dinner :) Add one drop of yellow and red food colours and stir well.
Let it cool down. Meanwhile whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract.
First fill each egg with Nesquik syrup (about ¼). Pipe whipped cream.
Using spoon handle remove some cream out of the center of the egg making little dent. Fill them with vanilla pudding and put the top of chocolate back.
Store in refrigerator.
